About the event

Penelope’s 9th Birthday at the Aquarium!

Calling all party animals—sssslither on over!

Penelope is turning nine and we’re celebrating at the family-owned Tarpon Springs Aquarium, packed with hands-on encounters, feedings, and shows. It’s going to be wild (in the best way)!

Party Details

  • Tip: The first show starts at 1:00 PM, so arriving on time is best. If you hit traffic, no worries—the show runs again after the party window.

  • Where: Tarpon Springs Aquarium (newer location—double-check maps as they relocated a few years ago)

  • Who: Penelope’s entire class—boys and girls! Bring your curiosity and get ready to meet some amazing creatures.

  • Theme: Reptiles and Sharks! Think snakes, gators, sharks, stingrays, turtles, and other scaly superstars.

What’s Included

  • Up-close animal encounters (hands-on moments with friendly critters)

  • 6 different feeding experiences (baby sharks, stingrays, baby alligators, big fish, turtles, and farm animals)

  • 3 live shows during the party timeframe (1:00 PM Alligators, 2:00 AM Reptiles, and 3:00 PM Scuba Shark Feeding with a 4:00 PM Alligators)

  • Food: We’ll have pizza and sandwiches with cake after the 1:00 PM Alligator show .Please note any allergies or dietary needs on the RSVP.

Stay & Play

Your party admission lets you stay longer after our official party time until 5 PM. Explore more exhibits, catch another show, and enjoy the aquarium at your own pace.

Getting There

We know it’s a bit of a trek for our Clearwater families (about 30 minutes), so plan a little buffer for traffic - especially since you'll want to make that 1:00 PM show.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes. The facility is almost entirely outdoors with shade and you may be standing for shows and encounters.

  • Big smiles and brave hearts—reptiles and marine life are cooler than you think!
